y boards on which are pictures and text giving an overview of the Bible, from Genesis, right through the Old Testament, to the Ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ to the New Testament book of The Acts. It really is an ‘amazing journey’
The stories are brought to life by people dressed up as various Bible characters, and linked together by a narrator.
Characters that appear in this presentation may include: Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Miriam, Moses, David, Daniel, Elijah, Mary the Mother of Jesus, John the Baptist and Mary Magdelene.
On this journey pupils learn what the Bible has to say about themes such as, creation, the tower of Babel, Israel’s journey from slavery to the promised land, the Judges, the Kings, the Prophets, and the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.
Having toured the exhibition pupils get to answer questions on a simple worksheet, by visiting each display board.
